It is important to PHAW to give back to the community. We engage in unique ways to both curate and contribute to charitable endeavors.

 

Camp Sundown (XPS)

PHAW VP, Daniel Sperling, co-founded the annual Driving Force Club – Camp Sundown – Wilzig Racing Manor charity event after discovering Camp Sundown and their impending bankruptcy in 2013. Camp Sundown is the only camp in the United States catered towards children a very rare skin disease, Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XPS). With a rich background in the automotive community, Daniel, and Wilzig Racing Manor owner, Alan Wilzig, co-founded this high-spirited annual charity event which helps raise Camp Sundown’s entire annual operating budget year-over-year.

CENTURION FOUNDATION

The Centurion Foundation supports numerous law enforcement agencies both locally and nationally, with primary emphasis on the NYPD and the NY State Police. They provide support for widows and orphans of officers injured or killed in the line of duty. They also provide funding for training and scholarships for police officers and their children. Educational programs directly supported include training on counter-terrorism and homicide investigation. In addition, they support various department needs and programs for widows and orphans in the tri-state area and Florida.
